Want to clear cache/history

I have a lowly Onn tablet with Android Go edition. I use this tablet for like TWO apps (Memento Database & ColorNotes) but over time the start up has slowed from like 10 seconds to now closer to 30-45 seconds.. I suspect there is a cache or history file that may be adding to the start up time but danged if I can locate any cache or history in Settings.

I don't (yet) have a file manager app since it would seem to me that any cache or history related to the apps I use would be withIN those?

Any advise/suggestions/hints would be appreciated.

What's the exact model name/number?

Its a Onn 7" Second Generation - Model 100026191 Android Version 11. Custo, build version alps-mp-r0.mp5-V4.26.2, Build # RP1A.200720.011 release keys.
Do you need further information about the Memento Database or ColorNote apps?

Ok, try wiping the cache partition -- this won't erase any personal data. Follow the steps in this video, but when you see the Android Recovery menu, select Wipe Cache Partition (and not Wipe Data).

BIG thanks for locating that video to show how to do this! I will back up data - just in case - before clearing cache.

You're THE MAN B. Diddy!!!

:( I thought this had solved my question, but after trying the suggested pattern for getting to the recovery menu AND going back onto You Tube to find if there were other ways to bring up a Recovery menu for my tablet, none of those worked. It looks like this tablet is doomed to never be able to get to the recovery menu thus allowing me to clear the cache.
