App Trash Notification Missing

I just did a reset on my LG G7 ThinQ and I deleted an app. I got the prompt that you do when you delete an app about the app trash, "would you like to see the app trash?" and I accidentally clicked don't show this again. Since then I cannot find the app trash, there is no way for me to see it. I went to apps and reset all app preferences and I can see the disabled apps, there's a list of them but it doesn't give you the same functionality as when you're able to see the app trash. For one, it gives you the option to just delete everything in the trash. I no longer have that now and all options for viewing the trash, everything is gone.

How can I restore this?

It sounds like that's a feature of the launcher. If you don't mind setting up your homescreens again, try clearing the app cache/data from the home launcher app in Settings>Apps (I'm not exactly sure what's it's called -- it might be LG UX).
