I have a galaxy 20 5G and I'm trying to connect it to my 2017 honda civic. It will connect to the car with call audio, but not media audio. I have tried clearing network settings. Deleting both devices of each other's connected Bluetooth device lists. Restarts have been attempted as well. When I click the slider in bluetooth settings to enable media audio it turns itself off again.

Some cars will do phone function over BT, but not music. Have you confirmed your car is capable?

Do you have the factory head unit or an aftermarket head unit? I have a 2017 Honda Civic with the factory head unit. Bluetooth media works on my S22 Ultra and my car.

Welcome to Android Central! Could there be some other Bluetooth device that's competing for the connection, like earbuds or a watch?

I had that happen this morning. I had to remove device. Then add and pair again. Not sure why those things happen out of the blue. Irritating
