If you really, really can't recall the lock screen password hopefully you have already backed up your personal data. This is going to wipe the user data partition clean so all your stored data will be gone after the Reset.
You'll most likely need to re-enter your Google account info (gmail name and password) to authenticate you again (that's the Google account you initially used to first set up your A6), then you'll need to reinstall various apps, go through your Settings menus again, and restore your data from your backups. This isn't a trivial task so think hard about that password. it can save you a lot of time and effort.
