It's done you a favor. That phone is 8 years old and is sure to be quickly losing app support as the OS is now too old. There are some sites offering the factory firmware and tools for installing it, but they don't appear to be run by LG (LG left the smartphone market 18+ months ago) so they are an "at your own risk" warning.
In fact - the OS is no longer supported by Google Play Services, even if you CAN get a factory OS running on it you may run into trouble getting the Play Store to allow you to install apps on it.
You can find new inexpensive phones that will run circles around that one and will have support for installing apps.
