I have never had an Iphone, nor do I want to switch, however the camera on the new Pro Max 14 is unreal. What Samsung phone has a camera as good as that??
Welcome to Android Central! As someone who uses Android phones but whose husband's family almost exclusively uses iPhones, I can tell you both Apple, Pixel, and Samsung products will deliver favourable camera and photo performance. But comparing cameras and saying which one is best are very subjective feats. I'd say all that depends on user experience.

Welcome to Android Central! I can't compare directly, but the Pixel 7 Pro camera is pretty awesome, and actually beat the iPhone 14 Pro Max in the DXOMark ratings: https://www.dxomark.com/smartphones/
The one area where iPhone cameras are likely still superior is with video. I've always been much more interested in photography, so this has never been an issue for me, but if you're a budding film director or cinematographer, then that might be a reason to go with the iPhone.
Incidentally, if you want to watch a really fun movie based on a time travel concept that was filmed entirely on an iPhone (and was done to make it look like it was all one take), check out Beyond the Infinite 2 Minutes on Amazon Prime and other services (like Vudu and TubiTV): https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/det...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU7114982
iPhone 14 pro and pro max cameras are top notch no question , Samsung s22u be the phone to get and it's zoom what stands out , pro mode so if it's camera top 3 are iphone/Samsung/pixel and Samsung video is on par with iPhones
