Basically the app is requesting you to grant root access. If your device is rooted and your comfortable with giving access to the application to root (system) level portions of your device then proceed. Otherwise you can just deny it and continue onward.

I do question why the application needs access to this? Most other virus scanning apps don't require root level access to work.

It say on my LG L70 that 360 security don't have root permissions and I would like it to. Also by my Android now rooted can I uninstall stock apps I don't use that are taking up space & battery usage

360 requests a root access simply because it can do a full in-depth scan which non rooted security scans can not .Plus it has a firewall for rooted devices. First free security app I have seen with a firewall
