AT&T S5 on Mac Not Connecting

I just got an S5 from ATT. Im moving from a iPhone 5. I cannot get the Samsung Smart Switch to connect to my phone. It says in the "connecting to phone" mode for hours. I've tried Reinstalling. Using File Transfer. And other programs. My phone is set to debug ect. The phone will connect to my Mac Mini running OS 10.8 but will not connect to 10.9. Any suggestions?
