MOTO X wifi to 4g internet connection

Should the Moto X internet connection go seamlessly from our home wifi connection to 4G LTE, if both are turned on? There is quite a disconnect e.g. when leaving the house - getting in the car and pulling away. Theoretically shouldn't the connection just move to LTE4G. Always seems to be a struggle. thanks & bstregards

If you have LTE enabled and you have no active WiFi connection, the phone should default to LTE, as long as it is available.

Thanks seems to take a few minutes when in residential area - like it's looking for wifi and then eventually defaults to LTE4G /both wifi and data are always active - regards

I'm not sure how to fix that. Others may be better able to assist you.

For now, I recommend going over to the Moto X forums and see if anyone else is having the same issue. As that forum is device specific, they may be able to better assist you.

I am curious if the location settings, if set to high accuracy, is causing the transition to slow down?
