touch screen and volume buttons not responding

I dropped my phone in water, and now the screen and volume buttons aren't working! I'm still receiving all my notifications and have network and wifi access, my screen and volume buttons just isn't working!

please help!

Welcome to Android Central! Water is not a friend of electronics. Try the ol' uncooked rice in a Ziploc bag trick--place your phone in a bag with a couple handfuls of uncooked rice, then seal it. If the phone has a removable battery, take the back cover off, remove the battery, and put the phone in the bag without the back cover. Let it sit in there for at least 24 hrs. If you have some of those little desiccant bags that come with so many products (the ones with little beads, and the warning "DO NOT EAT"), use those instead of the rice.

hi, I've done all that and still nothing!! Is there any video or advise to check if the screen is connected to everything that it should??

I don't think it's a connection problem. If the screen is still not working, the circuitry probably got damaged by the water. There may not be much else you can do--sorry!
