4.4.4 App Drawer Not Transparent

[AC Question]

Has anyone else noticed that as soon as they upgraded to 4.4.4 that the app drawer is no longer transparent? The animation seems to fade it in just fine but then the background snaps to black with no transparency. Just trying to figure out what might be causing this.

I don't know if I would count, as I am running a custom ROM, but my app drawer is semi transparent.
