New S5 not opening sim

[AC Question]

Hi just purchased new S5 put micro sim in from previous phone asks for unlock pin which it lets you key in but when you hit "ok"to unlock the sim nothing happens.tried this with 2 different cards same result anybody had this problem? Same thing happens when i leave the sim out and start the phone the start up wizard opens but any button you try doesn't work even when trying to shut down the phone all it does is let you hit power off or restart without actually powering off or restarting.

I would consider taking the phone in for an exchange.
