I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I'm trying to copy part of some text from a text message. The GS5 for some reason won't let me do that. Anytime I click on the message bubble nothing happens, and when I long click it gives me menu options, not a way to select text I want to copy. The only way I see how to copy text from a text message is to copy the whole text message after tapping and holding it, which is not the same as letting me select what I want to copy. Please help

As far as I know that's how it's done. I've always just copied the text message, pasted it into an empty text box and then cut out the part I want. Not ideal but I have not seen another solution.

i too am very frustrated with this glitch. Being able to copy only a portion of a text message to use elsewhere was such a nice thing in my old BB. If you get to a solution, plz share.
