Hello Guys. I've been using my WP for quite long while and was considering buying a Nexus 5 and keeping my Lumia 925 and was wondering if MS apps on Android are good.

    For example

    Does OneDrive have auto upload?
Is there a Xbox Music App?
Bing Apps (Bing Sport, Bing News, Bing Finance, Food and Drink and Health and Fitness apps) or are there any alternatives
    Xbox One Smartglass

Does Android have these apps if not do you have any other alternatives that work on Win 8, and my WP and Nexus 5?

OneDrive exists as an app. All of the Bing stuff is a no go except Bing Search. Xbox Music and One Note are both there.

Thanks :-). Are there any alternatives to the Bing apps you can recommend?

I don't know what is available in the WP store, so I'll hold back. We do have a lot of members that use both and hopefully they can help out with that.

Xbox smart glass is an app on Google play. I've been using it for a few years.

Windows Phone wants you to use Bing, Android phones want you to use Google. It's just that way for seamless integration.

Android has a huge ecosphere and you should be able to find alternates for any replacements not built in.

I will say that a Lumia 925 enticed me away from using a Nexus 4 as my daily driver. But if you want a device with options and the ability to tinker, you can't go wrong with a Nexus. The 5 is cool... But if you don't plan on carrying it daily, try and find a left over BNIB Nexus 4 or a gently used one. You can do a lot with it. Currently work is ongoing for N4 with Ubuntu for Devices, Sailfish OS, Firefox OS, Open webOS and a whole panopoly of Android ROMs. It's a flashers wet dream.
