Welcome to Android Central! Sorry for the delay. To reset app defaults on a Samsung device, I think you go to the App Manager, then tap the Menu button and select Reset App Preferences. On most other Android devices, it's Settings>Apps, then Menu, then Reset App Preferences.

This may also work on the S3. It does on my S2 and Note 3. Long press the Home (physical button) Touch the left of the screen bottom buttons that come up, you should then see on top : Active apps - Downloaded - RAM - Clear defaults - Storage. It may differ slightly. That clear defaults method should give you the most options.
