I can't see or open my pictures when I connected to the computer......

I don't know why I couldn't see or open my picture when I connect my SD card to the computer. Every times it's connected it's still have the name but it couldn't open to see or use. Can anyone help me?

Are you inserting the actual SD card into the computer's SD reader, or are you connecting the phone (that has the SD in it) to the computer via USB?
