Htc one messages and pictures take took long to recieve

When I send a mesage or a picture sometimes it is taking 2 days for the other person to recieve. or dont recieve at all. what should I do?

Is your mobile data on at all times? Photos sent via messaging need mobile data to be on. How's the signal? If your signal is poor, it might not be able to send until you get to an area of stronger signal.
