AC Question

Hello everyone, I urgently need your expertise help and advice. I recently bought an IFA Tab 10.1 and it has the android vs 4.1.1. It runs very slow and easily freezes anytime. I get annoyed a lot during this times.
Model Number 10.1 Baseband version MTK2 Kernel Version 3.0.8
I wanted to upgrade the android version to at least 4.3 or 4.4. Maybe this might help my situation. I also want to root it as a friend told me but i don't know where to get the right resources. Guys i need your help...thanks to you all.

Welcome to Android Central! I can't find a device by that name after searching on the web--can you give us the exact brand and model? Since the name of the tablet is not easily recognizable, it is likely a very cheaply made device with underpowered internals from a company with poor quality control, so it is doubtful that upgrading the Android version would help. If the CPU is outdated, or the system RAM and internal storage ROM are very limited, then rooting will hardly make a difference.

In order for a system update to be made available for a device, the manufacturer has to make it official, and this rarely occurs with off-brand devices. Sorry!

I would try rebooting into recovery. Turn the device off, hold power and volume down. Once there you can clear the cache partition.
