Exchange Activesync older calendar entries not syncing

Hi,
We have one user whose older Outlook 2010 calendar items are not synced from Exchange 2010 to the phone (Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android 4.4.2).
The phone is just paired with Exchange.
But when he creates a new calendar appointment entry it syncs to the phone.
Any ideas?

What Email client are you using?

Both Nine (which I am really liking!) and TouchDown HD (which I also like) enable you to set the time period for downloading calendar entries up to and including "All".

Look for the sync setting in your mail client; not in your calendar.

On my Samsung Galaxy Tab II, in the email client, Menu -> Settings -> More Settings -> Period to sync calendar.

Hi,

It's the standard Samsung emailclient.

Configuration of the calendar sync period doesn't matter for the result.
These calender items have been created in the past, but still have to occur in the next couple of weeks.
