Google Play Music Manager Internet Connection

I installed Google Play Music Manager on Monday and I've never gotten it to work. It keeps giving me a message that says "Couldn't connect to Goggle Play, please check your Internet connection and try again." I've tried almost everything, even turned off my firewall completely. Anybody know of anything that will work?

What computer did you install on? What version of the OS is it running? Are you having any other difficulties accessing Google services on that computer?

I've just had the same problem, it was also affecting a citrix app that I use to work from home. Turns out that the Rapport service (that my wife installed) had decided to block both Play Music and Citrix Receiver, if you've got Trusteer Rapport, try killing it and see if it helps. I feel like writing to IBM and asking them for a days pay since I was unable to do any work yesterday!
