I just bought a nexus 7 and I'm mainly going to use it for reading. So far I have installed aldiko reader, amazon kindle, adobe reader, and play book is already there. When I try reading PDFs in adobe reader or aldiko, it doesn't fill up the whole screen like in kindle or play book, and it degrades the reading experience. I tried some PDF to epub converters, both online and standalone to convert some of the PDFs but all of them messed up TT he formatting, so I'm on the lookout for a PDF to epub converter that actually works. Any help ?

Well, usually PDF to ePub sucks across the board, but the tool of choice for many, myself included, is Calibre for PC/Mac. This basically lets you convert any file to any supported format and will even let you edit meta data and correct stuff you don't like from the conversion, which is useful.

In Google Play Books you can zoom in and out by pinching the screen, have you tried that?
