Most of this information is always stored with the picture itself (for location though, you have to activate the option to add location tag to the image). However, this information is not shown like in the cameras of yesteryear, adding a timestamp printed on the picture itself.

If you want the timestamp to be printed on the picture, you have a few options and some restrictions:
1) If you're using the stock camera app, chances are there's no option to add this to every picture you take on the moment you take it.
2) If you want to add the timestamp to every picture, just like an 'old' film camera would, there are third party camera apps that will let you activate such option, like CameraZoom FX or Camera 360, but chances are this timestamp would only include time and/or date, not sure if they support location 'printing'
3) If you want to add the timestamp manually, later, you can use a ton of different picture editing apps. My favorites are PhotoGrid (which also lets you apply overlays) and Pixlr Express. This last one has A TON of options from effects to overlays.
