Security policy in Samsung S4-mini with Android 4.2.2

[AC Question]

I have updated my Samsung S4-mini to Android 4.2.2, and as a side effect, it also updated the security policy. Since the update, several applications do not work correctly. To cite two cases:
* Myphoneexplorer cannot update the files in the PDA (it can update them in the other direction)
* Tomtom cannot access the networks for updates or verification.
What can I do to fix this?
