Hi guys, I was wondering if any of you could help me out. I've done some searching around but I'm finding a lot of answers and it's all a bit confusing.

Basically I was sending a message on my phone when it just restarted itself (something it had been doing for a few days), the problem being that this time it wouldn't get past the Samsung screen at boot up.

I've tried following a few guides such as wiping the and haven't had much success. I can access both the download screen and the other one (cant remember its name) by holding the home&volume button up/down.

Is there any way to save my phone? And is there any chance of keeping any of the data thats on there?

Thanks a lot in advance, hope we can sort something out!

If you can boot into the download screen (the other one is the recovery screen), you can flash a ROM with Odin. Go to SamMobile Firmwares, find the right ROM for your model S2, for your carrier/country. You'll get to a page with a download button and, if you scroll down, instructions pn how to flash the ROM.
