Battery and charging issue

Hi its about my Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 the battery ran down and is flat I tried to charge it but it shows no sign of charging and it refused to come on I tried the power and volume button but nothing work and my warrantee is done for .please I need help.

Let is sit off the charger for a few hours then reconnect it to another power outlet. Let is sit and see if you have any sign that it's charging - if it doesn't, then it's likely a battery issue that needs to be replaced through Samsung.
