Moto G connection to mac

[AC Question]

I have just bought a Moto G. All is well apart from connection to my mac. I have downloaded the android file transfer. The Mac recognises the phone and all the things on it but i cannot copy/drag etc any files, photos or iTunes to the phone
Any suggestions?
