I have a brand new Droid Maxx - Android 4.4.4 - all updates installed - Google maps 8.2.0
My wife has a brand new Galaxy S5 - Android 4.4.2 - all updates installed - Google maps 8.2.0
They give different turn-by-turn directions for the same trip. Very different! I set them up for a short trip to the other side of town(DC). The Galaxy 5 offers 2 routes through the city only, the Droid offers 2 routes around the city only. Route options are all unchecked on both phones. For a longer trip 3 states away the Droid offers 1 route and the Galaxy offers 3.
Can anyone tell me why Google maps 8.2.0 is very different from Google maps 8.2.0?
