Send email link to desktop

Need to send email link to my phone's desktop.
The purpose is for EyezOn alarm system log in from desktop icon.
iPhone can do this by bookmarking link and sending to desktop.

My phone: Kyocera Hydro Icon with Boost Mobile. OS: Android 4.3
















Need to send an emailed link to my phone's desktop.
The purpose is to log in to my EyezOn alarm account from the desktop icon.
For example, this can be done with an iPhone by by bookmarking link and sending it to desktop.

Do you mean you want to add a Bookmark shortcut on your Home Screen?

If you know how to add a widget or an app then you know how to add a shortcut.
First Bookmark the page on your favorite browser and then go to add Shortcuts and then Bookmarks and pick the page you Bookmarked. It should show on your Home Screen.

You can save the page and use a file manager to create a short cut or "send to home screen".

What happens when you long press on the Home Screen?
What options do you have?
I'm assuming that you are on ICS.
If I remember correctly you should have three options, add an app, add a widget and add a shortcut. What do you have?
