SD card issues

I have a Samsung Galaxy K Zoom. I have an SD card in the phone but for some reason pictures refuse to save onto the SD card. I have gone into the camera settings and selected "save onto SD card" and whenever I take a photo a message comes onto the bottom of the screen saying that it cannot be saved onto the SD card then gets rid of the photo! I have absolutely no idea what to do! Help?!

Is the sdcard full or damaged? I'd checked it then try again.

It's definitely not full, it has 4GB left and I don't think its damaged. I'll try and see if I can get a new one at some point. Thank you

If you have anything currently on the card, transfer it to a desktop/laptop. Then format the card and see if it works then.
