LG G2 problem with updating data

[AC Question]

I have the LG G2 and my phone died last night 8/4/14. I plugged it in and turned it on this morning and the phone is reflecting the date of July 19, 2014. I have tried restarting, removing sim card, etc. and the date still reflects the 19th of July. I also cannot view any text messages that I have received today. I am able to send a message but when I push send, it does not appear on the conversation log, looking like I never sent a message. I have tried backing up all of the data in my phone in case I have to do a factory reset of my phone however it is only backing up the data from before July 19th. How can I get my phone back up to reflecting todays date, data, etc. and receive messages again?????

Have you done an app Cached Data wipe, and if that was ineffective, a Cache Partition wipe?
