samsung tablet wont turn on

How do I get my Samsung tablet to turn on? I was using it, then set it down to help my daughter and about an hour later tried to turn on and it wont do anything. I charged it with the charger I always use for it and it still wont do anything?? Please help

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet is it? Did you press and hold the Power button for 10-15 seconds? Let it charge overnight? Do know if the battery was close to zero before this happened?

Mine won't either. I have it on the charger and it won't hold a charge. It shows the empty battery screen and then the first little orange bar and then goes blank. This repeats over and over. I used the tablet today. I'm not sure what to do.

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet do you have? It may be worth looking into a battery replacement.
