MX Android TV box...can't access Android OS

Hi, I recently bought a DBPower MX dual core Android TV box off Amazon and it seems that I am stuck in the XBMC app and I am unable to go back to the original android interface (Jelly bean 4.2). So my question is, how do I get back to the android OS? When I boot up the device it skips the android OS and goes straight to xbmc app. Then when I try to hit the power button in the left corner of xbmc and then click Exit, the device attempts to exit xbmc but it just starts xbmc again.

Any suggestions on how to fix this would greatly be appreciated!
