Weird Wifi Problem

[AC Question]

I've had this Samsung Galaxy Tab for over a year now.... I also have an Android phone as well as an iMac. I've been with Sky Broadband for over 3 years now.

the wifi has been working fine ever since we got the two mobile devices, but suddenly my tablet won't connect to the router, saying authentication error - my phone connects fine as does my iMac (but it's going via ethernet anyways)

I've restarted the tablet several times and then used the password to try and get in... it's worked fine before but now it's just not having it... has the wifi app gone corrupt all of a sudden?

You can try clearing the cache in recovery. Which tab do you have?

Also, try rebooting the router. This often helps.
