Voice dial doesn't work with my bluetooth

So, I installed a new stereo in my Nissan Versa 2009, and I think I did everything right..... The stereo works just fine, and the bluetooth works great for the most part, pandora works great and I can make and receive calls clearly, however, I can not use the voice commands to make a call, it is like it doesn't hear me, but the microphone picks up my voice just fine during a call, just not to start the call....
