galaxy s3500 suddenly turns off and wont turn what do i do>?

The first thing to do is to test for battery failure. Try another if you can, but without buying, in case it is not the battery.

Also, check the contacts with the battery. If they don't fit snug on to it then the battery could come away from the contacts and effectively switch the phone off.
