Note 2 battery charge gauge incorrect after 4.3 upgrade

Hello,

The Note 2 shows a small charge gauge while the phone is on and a larger one briefly - when the battery is being charged - phone off. With OS 4.1 the two gauges roughly agreed. Since 4.3, a 15% indication phone on results in close to a 50% indication after the phone is switched off and the charger connected. Battery life and time to fully charge seem unchanged.

Any ideas why the charging indicator is no longer correct? Is there any way to calibrate it?

I would guess it is a bug in the ROM. AS for a way to change it, not that I am aware of.
