Can't not download file

Every time i try and download a file and open it. I get this message come across the bottom of my phone saying can't download file. How can I fix this?

Every time i try and download a file and open it. I get this message come across the bottom of my phone saying can't download file. How can I fix this?

There could be an issue with the server you are trying to download the file from or maybe a network problem on your end.

If on Mobile Data, try Wi-Fi or vice-versa.

Oftentimes I find opening the file in a new window and letting it download from there seems to fix similar problems with downloading files.
