Nexus 10 USB charging plug

[AC Question]

My Nexus 10 USB charging plug is going bad. The charging icon only appears if I hold the USB plug at a certain angle. Should I send it back to the factory? How???

Do you mean the USB port in the device? First, make sure it hasn't become clogged with dust or fluff which might be causing a bad electrical connection. If all seems well, it will need the attentions of a repairer. Bear in mind that the manufacturer is unlikely to repair a faulty USB port under the terms of the warranty, because it would be assumed to be user damage. You could take it to a reputable independent repairer if more convenient, or contact the manufacturer's customer service for advice on posting.
