Unlimited Data on new full price phone

[AC Question]

I currently have a UDP with Verizon on my Razr Maxx w/ micro SIM. I want to keep my UDP and buy a GS5 at full price to avoid changing data plans. Do I have to buy from Verizon or can I use BB or other retailer to get the phone? I plan to simply swap the micro SIM card from my Razr to my S5 when it arrives. Will Verizon know Ive done this and try to cancel my UDP?

Any better options?

Thanks for any advice and experiences, Ive read hours of threads on keeping UDP, but since 8/24 has past I just need to be sure Im going the best possible way to achieve my goal.

The best thing I would do is buy the phone from Verizon at full retail. You could use BB or some other one if you ensure it is a Verizon S5.

After that ... simply swap the SIM and you're good to go! .

What if the phone with the UDP has a nano sim and the phone you want to activate has a micro sim?
