After reading numerous articles, my understanding is that an app has to be "optimzed" for Kitkat in order for it to write data to the SD card. Otherwise, it writes data to internal memory. Is this correct?
I particularly need a note-taking app that will do that. I used to rely on Note Everything, but I don't think it can save to the SD card. I am trying out Color Notes, but it seems only the backup function will save to the SD card. It still saves a copy of the data to internal memory. Is there an app that will save data only to the SD card?
I would like something simple -- Evernote is overkill.
