tablet stuck in boot mode

[AC Question]

Generic tablet (OS 4.2.2) stuck in boot mode. I'm able to boot into recovery mode, When I try to select the wipe data/factory reset option, it brings me to the next screen where it asks for confirmation to wipe all of user data (this can't be undone) and shows
- No
- No
- No
underneath the text. I'm unable to select (tap) or use any single button or combination of buttons to change the three " no" text lines to yes.

Any suggestions to resolve this issue?

Try using the Volume Up/Down button for this, and the Power button once you've selected the option you want.

Thanks, I had tried that, Both touching the screen on the factoryreset option or selecting the power button after volume button navigating to the factory reset option only bring me to the next screen where the three "no" lines appear on the screen, None of the button combinations allow me to change the "no" lines to "yes".

Is there an external factory reset utility program I can run from my windows pc while connected via usb to the android tablet to initiate the factory reset?
