Whats with the new phone

[AC Question]

My Galaxie s4 keeps going to mailbox after I let it sit with no activity. I don't receive any calls on the phone and can't make a call out

Welcome to Android Central! I don't quite understand. So when the phone is idle for a while, it automatically opens the Email app? Are you sure it isn't an email notification on the lockscreen?

Did the call problem just start? Are you sure the SIM card is in correctly? Have you spoken to your wireless carrier about this?

Try Settings, Apps, All, scroll to the Mailbox app, and select Clear Cache.
