no finger scan option only my alternative password

when i want to unlock my phone it does not give me a finger scan option it gives me my alternative password and i have forgotten it. What can i do? it doesn't want to give my finger scan option

I'm assuming you would have a device that supports finger scan ID? E.G. S5?

You'll need to contact Samsung and see if they can help you get back into the device.
