Recommend a used Verizon smartphone for me

I am out of contract from Verizon. This is going to be my first smartphone. I want a smartphone that has good battery life. I am planning to use the phone for making phone calls, sending texts, search internet for information, gps, whatsapp, viber. I WONT use the smartphone as an entertainment device, facebook, twitter and other silly functions. Prefer iPhone but Android phone will also work. I dont want to spend more than 150-200 bucks.

Welcome to Android Central! So are you saying you're looking to buy a phone outright, instead of starting a new contract with Verizon?

Your best bets might be the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD or the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Maxx HD is known for battery life, although the S4's battery life is generally pretty good as well.
