How do I send *6 in a dialing string (turns mute on after connecting to a conf call) over bluetooth?

AC Question

I've set up a contact with a conf call # that i use daily. After dialing the 800 number, pausing, dialing the conf #, pausing a bit more, i then need to enter *6 to set my phone on mute.

After executing this over bluetooth (I'm using a Sena SMH10R in my motorcycle helmet while riding), no further calls can be made with my phone w/o rebooting first. I've narrowed it down to the sending of that *6.

I'd like to know how to send this over bluetooth w/o disabling further calls. My SMH10R doesn't appear to have a way to mute my voice from its own controls.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
