Samsung S-View Cover Stops working with Qi after market card.

So I bought the Samsung S-View Case for my Samsung S5, and really liked. Then I realized they also produced one that was Wireless enabled. I didn't want to spend that money all over again, so I bought the VU-Mate wireless charging receiver card. The install is simple, and the charging works fine. But immediately, the Samsung S-View Cover stopped functioning. Is there any way to fix that?
