Two weeks ago my gs5 was knocked out of my hand and fell and the screen cracked. When I tried to turn it on the screen was completely black. The phone still vibrates and lights up when I get a message or turn it on but the screen remains black. I have a ton of music, pictures, and such on it which I thought were being backed up but I guess not. Is there anyway to access and recover the data on the phone? I hope someone can help! Thanks!

I have a galaxy S5 and would love to sell it to you if you would be able to salvage my music and data. Let me know if you are still interested.

Buy a converter box which has both HDMI and USB port, then plug a mouse and computer screen into your phone, now you can see and click on your phone. With the help of mouse, login your Google Account to sync contacts, calendar, and use Google Photos or Dropbox to make a backup of photos and files.
Or try this tutorial to recover data from Samsung Galaxy S5 with broken screen, maybe useful.
