No 4G Signal on GS3 After Getting Wet

[AC Question]

I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 and got caught out in a rainstorm a week ago. The phone completely shut down. I thought it was fried, but eventually determined that it was the battery. I bought a new one and everything works fine except for the vibrate function and the fact that I can only get a 3G signal. It never finds 4G. I took it to the Verizon store and we changed the SIM card but that didn't do it. So I bought a replacement SIM/SD card tray as well as a new vibrator motor. I switched them out last night but neither made a difference. Anyone ever have this issue or have any advice on repairs?

I'd take it to a reputable repair shop in your area to see if they can help find out the root cause.
