emailing attachments on the S5

[AC Question]

I just got a new S5 yesterday and am finding it will not send emails with attachments. What did I miss? It's a Verizon phone and I have Verizon email so the e-mail server set itself up with my password. Is there a setting I should change, or should I be returning to Best Buy for help?

Which email app are you using, Email or Gmail? What type of file are you trying to send? Individual email providers, Gmail, Yahoo, Verizon, Microsoft have file size limits. So if you are trying to send a video, it could be too big. The technique in the Email is simple; select Send (the envelop with a pencil) then select the Paperclip at the top to select what you want too attach. In Gmail, select Send (envelop with +); then select Menu, Attach File and then select what file type you wish to attach.
