Hello! I have submitted an RMA to get my HTC One M7 replaced. It has that purple tint camera problem. So I chose the Advanced Exchange program as being without a phone is a little difficult right now.

The T&C dictate that with an advanced exchange, they will charge anything that falls outside of warranty to my bank account.

My issue is that at the top of the phone (near the power button) and the bottom of the phone (near the charger port) there is slight paint chipping. I you can't see it unless you look for it (don't have to look hard for it).

My question is whether or not this may affect being charged extra for repair.

What do you think? Should I forgo the Advanced exchange and do the On-site (Send your phone in first, then they send a new one)?
